This Privacy Policy explains how vDate handles information when you use the app. vDate is developed by banimo.net. The short version: we keep as little as we can.

Our approach

vDate keeps things simple. We collect what the app needs to work, we don't sell your information, and we don't show you ads.

What we collect

Depending on how you use vDate, this may include:

  • The messages and conversations you have in the app.
  • Basic account or contact details you choose to give us, for example an email address if you contact us.
  • Subscription status, so the app knows which features you have unlocked.
  • Basic technical information such as app version, device type, and crash reports, to keep the app working.

AI processing

vDate uses a third-party AI provider to generate replies. To do that, your messages and conversations in the app are sent to that provider and processed there. By using vDate, you agree to this.

Please don't share anything in a conversation that you wouldn't want processed this way, such as passwords, payment details, or sensitive information about other people.

Subscriptions and payments

Purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play and managed with RevenueCat, our payment provider. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase history so the app knows what you have unlocked. We never see or store your card details.

Sharing

We share information only with the services that help us run the app (such as our AI provider, the app stores, and RevenueCat), or when the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices

  • Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account.
  • Uninstall the app to remove everything stored on your device.
  • Ask us to delete any information we hold about you by writing to the address below.

Age

vDate is for adults aged 18 and over. If you believe someone under 18 has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. We will update the date above when we do. Continuing to use vDate after a change means you accept the updated policy.
