This Privacy Policy explains how Telomo handles information when you use the app. Telomo is developed by banimo.net. The app is a teleprompter and camera, so this page focuses on your scripts, your recordings, and the camera and microphone access it needs.

Our approach
Telomo is built to keep your work close to you. Your scripts and the videos you record stay on your device, and the app is designed to hold as little as possible. We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train models.
What the app holds
Using Telomo creates a few kinds of content:
- Scripts you write or paste into the app.
- Videos you record, along with their audio.
- Titles, language choice, and app settings you set yourself.
Scripts and videos stay on your device. Recording uses your camera and microphone while the app is open; nothing is captured in the background.
Camera and microphone
Telomo needs the camera to record video and the microphone to record audio and to follow your voice while the script scrolls. These are used only while you are actively recording in the app. You can grant or revoke these permissions in your device settings at any time; without them, the recording features will not work.
Information collected automatically
We may collect limited technical and usage information — crash reports, general app activity, and basic device information — to keep the app stable and understand which features are used. Where this is used for analytics it is aggregated or de-identified, and it never includes your scripts or the content of your videos.
Recording other people
You decide what to record, and you are responsible for doing it lawfully. Recording and consent rules vary by country and by state, and in many places people have to agree before you film them. Please get consent where it is required.
Your choices
You stay in control of your content:
- Delete any script or video from inside the app.
- Save or export a video to keep your own copy wherever you like.
- Change or revoke camera and microphone access in your device settings.
- Uninstall the app to remove everything stored on your device.
- Ask us to delete anything held on our servers by writing to the address below.
How information is shared
We share information only in limited cases: with services that help us run the app, such as crash reporting and app distribution; and where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the app.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not hand your scripts or videos to advertisers.
Data retention
Content on your device stays there until you delete it or remove the app. Any technical and usage data is kept only as long as we need it to run and improve the app.
Security
We keep what we hold to a minimum and restrict access to it. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but a small data footprint is a large part of how we approach it.
Children
Telomo is a creation tool and is not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us so we can address it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and may notify you in the app. Continuing to use Telomo after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
