These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Swedic app and its features. Swedic is developed by banimo.net. By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. About Swedic

Swedic is a Swedish–English dictionary app developed by banimo.net. It lets you look up words and shows meanings, examples, word forms, related words, and pronunciation.

Swedic is a learning aid. It is not a certified translation service, and it should not be relied on for legal, medical, or other professional purposes.

2. Free app with ads

Swedic is free to use and is paid for by advertising shown inside the app. By using Swedic you accept that ads are part of it.

Ads are served by third-party advertising partners, and we do not control or endorse the products, services, or websites they promote. Anything you do with an advertiser is between you and them.

If Swedic later offers an optional paid feature, the price and billing terms will be shown in the app before you confirm anything. Payments, renewals, and refunds are handled by the app store you installed from, under that store's terms.

3. Eligibility

You may use Swedic only if you are able to form a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you. If you are using the app on behalf of someone else, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for them.

4. No account needed

Swedic does not require an account. Your saved words and settings are kept on your device, which means they are yours to keep and yours to lose: uninstalling the app, resetting the device, or clearing the app's data removes them, and we cannot restore them for you.

5. Dictionary content

We work to keep the entries, examples, and translations accurate, but language is messy and mistakes happen. Content is provided "as is" without any guarantee of completeness or accuracy, and levels such as A1 or B2 are guidance rather than an official classification.

Where a Swedish word has several senses, the app may not show all of them. Use your judgement, and let us know if something looks wrong.

6. Acceptable use

When using Swedic, you agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in a way that harms others.
• Copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute the dictionary data except as the app allows.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the app or its systems.
• Interfere with, block, or artificially interact with the ads shown in the app.

7. Intellectual property

Swedic, including its name, design, features, and original content, is owned by banimo.net and protected by applicable laws. You receive a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use the app. No other rights are granted.

8. Service availability and changes

We may add, change, or remove features, and we may update or pause the app from time to time. We aim to keep it running smoothly but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Some features may depend on your device, your settings, or your internet connection.

9. Disclaimers

Swedic is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, banimo.net will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for loss of data or saved words, arising from your use of, or inability to use, Swedic.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app, if any, in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Termination

You may stop using Swedic at any time by removing it from your device. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are breached or if it is needed to protect the app or its users.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the app evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and may notify you in the app. Continuing to use Swedic after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
