These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lyska app and its features. Lyska is developed by banimo.net. By downloading, accessing, or using Lyska, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. About Lyska

Lyska is a Swedish–English dictionary and language-learning companion. It is offered as a study aid to help you explore Swedish words, save vocabulary, and practice over time.

Lyska is an educational tool. It is provided for general learning and reference and is not a substitute for professional language instruction, certification, translation, or advice.

2. Eligibility

You may use Lyska only if you are able to form a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you. If you are using the app on behalf of someone else, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for them.

3. Your account

Some features require you to sign in. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity that happens through your account.

Please let us know promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. We cannot be responsible for losses caused by sharing your credentials or by access you did not keep secure.

4. Subscriptions and purchases

Lyska offers optional paid plans that unlock additional features. Available plans, prices, and billing terms are shown in the app before you confirm a purchase.

Payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by the app store you used to install Lyska, under that store's terms. To manage or cancel a subscription, use the subscription settings of that store. We do not store your full payment details.

Unless required by applicable law or the store's policy, payments are non-refundable. Free trials, where offered, automatically convert to a paid plan unless cancelled before the trial ends.

5. Acceptable use

When using Lyska, you agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in a way that harms others.
• Copy, resell, or redistribute the dictionary content or other materials except as the app allows.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the app or its systems.
• Upload or capture content you do not have the right to use.

6. Content and accuracy

We work to keep dictionary entries, examples, and learning materials helpful and accurate, but language is nuanced and definitions can vary by context. Content is provided "as is" without any guarantee of completeness, accuracy, or suitability for a particular purpose.

You are responsible for how you rely on the content, especially in important, professional, or formal situations.

7. Intellectual property

Lyska, including its name, design, features, and original content, is owned by banimo.net and is protected by applicable laws. You receive a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use the app for your own learning. No other rights are granted.

8. Content you provide

You keep ownership of any content you add, such as saved words or images you scan. You grant us only the limited permission needed to operate features you choose to use, such as storing your saved words so they are available to you across the app.

9. Service availability and changes

We may add, change, or remove features, and we may update or pause the app from time to time. We aim to keep Lyska running smoothly but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Some features may depend on your device, your settings, or your internet connection.

10. Disclaimers

Lyska is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, banimo.net will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, Lyska.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app, if any, in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

12. Termination

You may stop using Lyska at any time. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are breached or if needed to protect the app or its users. You can remove the app from your device whenever you wish.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the app evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and may notify you in the app. Continuing to use Lyska after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
